The cause of everyone’s problems is this (contaminated) mind.
The purpose of this (human) life is only to attain The Lord.
Eating, sleeping, satisfying the senses, and protecting oneself are the same in humans and animals. *Humans can follow religion (dharma). Dharma is The Lord’s rules. One who is devoid of it is like an animal.*
Many devotees have been rescued by the effect of Harinam, like Ganika, Sudama, and Ajamil. *Everyone must take the help of Harinam.*
*By practicing repeatedly, even a dull-witted person becomes wise.*
*(Just like) a rope leaves marks on the stone when rubbed against it continually.*
*Of all the living entities with material bodies in this world, one who got awarded this human form should not work hard day and night simply for sense gratification.*
*It is available even for dogs and hogs who eat feces. One must engage in penance and austerity to attain the divine position of devotional service. By doing so, the heart becomes pure. Having achieved this position, one attains eternal, blissful life, transcendental to material happiness, which continues forever.* (_S.B. 5.5.1_)
*Morning comes, (then) evening comes.*
*Life ends like this.*
*Don’t forget two things if one expects welfare.*
*One is Death, and the other is The Lord (Narayan).*

हमें (श्रील) प्रभुपाद की पुस्तकें पढ़नी चाहिए।
हम अज्ञानी हैं और यह नहीं समझ रहे – स्त्री, पुत्र, धन, और बंगला यह सब दूर की चीजें रहीं, यह शरीर भी हमारा नहीं है। यह भी शमशान की अमानत है।
*हम सब जीवात्मा हैं। यह आत्मा अजर, अमर और अविनाशी है।*
*कलियुग में भगवान श्री कृष्ण, चैतन्य महाप्रभु के रूप में प्रकट हुए।* भगवान ने स्वयं प्रकट होकर हमें हरे-कृष्ण का कीर्तन करने का आदेश दिया।
*श्वास श्वास में हरि भजो, व्यर्थ श्वास मत खोय।*
*ना जाने इस श्वास का, आवन होय ना होय॥*
*कर लो भजन श्रीकृष्ण का, यह काम आएगा।*
*छूटेंगे धन व जन, मगर यह साथ जाएगा॥*
*आए हैं सो जाएँगे, राजा रंक फकीर।*
*एक सिंहासन चढ़ि चले, एक बँधे जात जंजीर॥*
*कलियुग केवल नाम अधारा, सुमिर सुमिर नर उतरहिं पारा।*
*कबीरा सब जग निर्धना ,धनवंता न कोय।*
*धनवंता सोइ जानिये, राम नाम धन होय॥*
*एक कृष्णं सर्व देवा, देव देवा त आत्मा।*
*आत्मा वासुदेवस्य जे को जाने भयो।*
*नानकु ता का दासु है सोई निरंजन देव॥* _(श्री गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब, राग आसा, गुरु अंगद देव जी, पृष्ठ: 469, प्रविष्टि संख्या: 15-16)_
*इतना जप कर कि हद कर दे।*
*कि यमराज भी अपना खाता रद्द कर दे॥*
