*S.B. 1.2.17 (contd.)*

*Morning sermon.*

Date: *October 20th, 2024, Keshav Kunj, Sri Vrindavan Dham.*

*(Srila) Prabhupada was a very great soul. (Srila) Prabhupada went to the USA with only seven dollars ($7), at seventy (70) years, and established centers worldwide.*

*One must chant the name of The Lord in every situation.*

*The narratives of Lord Krishna are non-different from Him. Therefore, whenever one hears about The Lord and sings His praises without offenses, one should comprehend that the divine words are manifestations of The Lord (Sri) Krishna, as powerful as The Lord Himself.*

*Reflect on the imperfections in birth, death, old age, and sorrow. These are on their way (approaching) everyone. Everyone will face the great test (of dying).*

Everyone has lust, anger, attachment, greed, ego, pride, and envy. The lust gives rise to anger, and anger gives rise to attachment. One continues to maintain an attachment to this world. Everyone is entrapped (in the world) due to attachment.

*Many devotees have been protected by the effect of Harinam, like Ganika, Sudama, Ajamil, (etc.). One must take the help of Harinam.*

By regularly observing Kartik and Ekadashi Vrat (refraining from things), one attains the proximity of (Lord Sri) Krishna.

One should not excrete feces or urine facing (in front of) fire, Sun, cow, Brahmin, Guru, woman, moon, incoming wind, water, and a temple. _(Ref: Kurma Purana, Padma Purana, Mahabharata, Skanda Purana, Vishnu Purana, Manusmriti)._

Those who urinate facing the Sun, fire, cow, Brahmins, and in the middle of the road, their intelligence and age are destroyed. _(Ref: Manusmriti, Skanda Purana, Mahabharata)._

Those men and women who urinate facing the Sun or Vayu, The child in the womb gets aborted. _(Ref: Mahabharata)._

*श्रीमद्भागवत 1.2.17*

*सुबह का प्रवचन।*

दिनांक:- *अक्टूबर 20, 2024, केशव कुंज, श्री वृन्दावन धाम।*

*(श्रील) प्रभुपाद बहुत महान आत्मा थे। सिर्फ सात (७) डॉलर लेकर (श्रील) प्रभुपाद अमेरिका गए थे, और सत्तर (७०) साल की उम्र में उन्होंने पूरी दुनिया में केंद्र स्थापित कर दिए।*

*हमें हर परिस्थिति में भगवान का नाम-जप करना चाहिए।*

*भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की कथाएँ उनसे अभिन्न हैं। अतएव जब भी अपराध-रहित होकर भगवान के बारे में श्रवण तथा उनका गुणगान किया जाता है, तो यह समझना चाहिए - कि वहाँ पर भगवान (श्री) कृष्ण दिव्य शब्द के रूप में उपस्थित हैं, जो साक्षात भगवान के समान ही शक्तिमान हैं।*

*जन्म, मृत्यु, वृद्धावस्था, और दुख में दोषों के दर्शन करो। यह सबके लिए आ रहे हैं। हम सब बड़ी (मृत्यु की) परीक्षा में बैठने वाले हैं।*

हमारे भीतर बहुत दोष (काम, क्रोध, मोह, लोभ, अहंकार, मद और मत्सर) आ गए हैं। काम से क्रोध और क्रोध से मोह उत्पन्न होता है। मोह निरंतर संसार में बना रहता है। हम सब मोह में फंसे हुए हैं।

*हरिनाम के प्रभाव से बहुत भक्तों का उद्धार हुआ है, जैसे गणिका, सुदामा, अजामिल। हमें भी हरिनाम का सहारा लेना है।*

कार्तिक व्रत और एकादशी व्रत नियमपूर्वक करने से मनुष्य (भगवान श्री) कृष्ण का सान्निध्य प्राप्त कर लेते हैं।

अग्नि, सूर्य, गौ, ब्राह्मण, गुरु, स्त्री, चन्द्रमा, आती हुई वायु, जल और देवालय—इनकी ओर मुख करके (इनके सम्मुख) मल-मूत्र का त्याग नहीं करना चाहिये - _कूर्म पुराण, पद्म पुराण, महाभारत, स्कंद पुराण, विष्णु पुराण, मनुस्मृति।_

जो सूर्य, अग्नि, गौ तथा ब्राह्मणों की ओर मुँह करके पेशाब करते हैं और जो बीच रास्ते में पेशाब करते हैं, उनकी बुद्धि तथा आयु नष्ट हो जाती है। - _मनुस्मृति, स्कंद पुराण, महाभारत।_

जो स्त्री-पुरुष सूर्य या वायु की ओर मुँह करके पेशाब करते हैं, उनकी गर्भवती आयी हुई सन्तान गिर जाती है - _महाभारत।_

*इतना जप कर कि हद कर दे।*

*कि यमराज भी अपना खाता रद्द कर दे॥*
