This body is a punishment to the soul and it is not worthy of the soul. The soul wants to live in a divine body.
The essence of devotion is that an individual will become humble.
Who is a devotee? na dhanam na janam na sundarīm, kavitām… One who does not want wealth, followers, beautiful women, or aspires to have intellectual prowess or recognition, is a devotee.
We have indulged in sense gratification in every form of our past lives, but it is forbidden in the human body. In the human body, we must engage our senses in the service of Lord Krishna, the master of the senses.
Continue to meditate constantly. It will purify. The mind will no longer wander toward women.
The mind is one’s greatest enemy, residing within. If one controls it, no one can harm oneself.
When we listen to the *Srimad Bhagavatam* scripture from a person Bhagavata (pure devotee of the lord), the knots in our hearts will untangle, and we will understand the teachings.
One must make devotees a treasure in their life. If devotees enter someone’s life, one will surely find the Lord.
Just like Arjun did not like being a part of the battle but to please God he took part in the warfare, we should do those things that please God, even if we do not like it.
Our path is the path of devotion, not one of gaining knowledge. We need to emphasize on our spiritual sentiments and devotional service.
